Round 4 Summary

Gurkha Legends Extend Their Dominance

The much-anticipated clash between the unbeaten Gurkha Legends and Kathmandu Warriors lived up to expectations—though in unexpected fashion. The Warriors posted a competitive total, but the Legends chased it down emphatically in just 12.5 overs, securing a 7-wicket win and stretching their unbeaten run to four consecutive victories.Sandip Adhikari, in sublime touch, smashed a commanding 80* off 45 balls, including 7 fours and 5 sixes, and also delivered with the ball—earning him his second Player of the Match award this season.

Capital Dragons Secure Their First Win

At Cornelian Bay, Capital Dragons finally opened their account with a dominant 9-wicket win over Envision Cricket Club. Ridaya Bhattarai stole the show, blasting 45 off just 18 balls and taking 3 wickets for 15 runs, making it a memorable all-round performance.

LNCC Triumph in Rain-Affected Clash

At Weily Park, Launceston Nepali Cricket Club (LNCC) claimed a crucial victory over Expert Cricket Club via the DLS method. When rain stopped play, LNCC were ahead of the par score, giving them their second win in three matches. Md Tausif Raja Khan guided the chase with a composed 26 not out, paired with a tight spell of bowling—earning him Player of the Match honours.

Everest vs Rhinos Ends Without a Result

Unfortunately, the match between Everest Stars and the unbeaten Moonlight Rhinos was abandoned due to rain. The Rhinos remain undefeated with three wins and one no-result, staying firmly in the top two.
