The Tasmanian Nepalese Cricket Association (TNCA), founded in 2019, promotes cricket within the Nepalese and Tasmanian communities through competitive tournaments, grassroots programs, and inclusive events. Our mission is to create a platform for players of all skill levels, fostering a love for the game while strengthening cultural ties and community spirit. TNCA is dedicated to developing young talents, supporting women’s cricket, and ensuring equal opportunities for all, making cricket accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Our Story

The Tasmanian Nepalese Cricket Association (TNCA) was founded with a vision to unite the Nepalese community in Tasmania through a shared love for cricket. What started as a small group of passionate players has now grown into a thriving platform that fosters sporting excellence, cultural connection, and community engagement. Since our inception, TNCA has been dedicated to promoting cricket within the Nepalese diaspora and creating opportunities for players of all levels to develop their skills and represent our community on bigger stages.

Our vision is to establish TNCA as a leading community-driven cricketing body, fostering inclusivity, growth, and excellence in the sport. We aim to unite the Nepalese and Tasmanian communities through cricket, providing opportunities for players of all ages and backgrounds. By promoting competitive leagues, grassroots programs, junior and women’s cricket, we strive to develop talent, instill sportsmanship, and ensure cricket’s sustainability for future generations.
